Working with Cynthia was fantastic.  She's light hearted, easy going and has a great talent for making everyone feel at ease.  Above all, she knows children.  My sons had fun climbing trees and pretending that monsters were following us.  Cynthia got great shots of all of these moments.  Even my husband, who abhors getting his picture taken, was completely engaged in the session and as a result, Cynthia was able to capture the true essence of our family.  I'll treasure these portraits always.  Thank you Cynthia!

Cynthia has taken gorgeous family photos for us twice in the past 4 years and each time she captured my kids' personalities perfectly. Her artist's eye and ability to take best advantage of the natural setting we chose for our shoot resulted in the most natural, beautiful pictures.  Her sense of fun and playfulness is infectious; my kids had so much fun. We will treasure these keepsakes for many years to come. Even though we no longer live in the DC area, we'll continue to use Cynthia to capture our family's important moments. I cannot rave enough about the photos Cynthia took of my two children. She was very accommodating, shooting early on a summer morning (in a place of my choice) before it became too hot (and before the kids became too cranky! She even had a snack on hand, just in case -- wish I had been so prepared!) I cannot stress enough what a wonderful way she has with children; my son can be a challenge, and she had him beaming like a champ! I treasure the pictures she took of my two kids; she gets them "as they are" and so the shots are so natural, not fake-looking -- truly captivating. Love the pics so much that I chose her to be our photographer at a big family event.
